"From humble beginnings, this school has grown to become a sanctuary of excellence, faith, and opportunity. Here, we believe that every child has the potential to shine like the brightest star.
As a parent, teacher, or community member, you are part of this journey. Together, let’s build a legacy of academic and moral excellence for our children.
With God as our guide, the future is indeed bright.
Welcome to The Grace Schools, where your child’s future begins."
– Pst. Walter Ong’ala, Director
In the midst of one of the darkest times in recent history, when hope seemed distant, The Grace Schools was born. The journey began on 27th July 2021, during a period when schools across Kenya were still grappling with the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The closure of schools on 16th March 2020 left many feeling despondent, and by July of the same year, the government declared the 2020 academic year lost. It was amidst this uncertainty and despair that The Grace Schools emerged—a testament to resilience, faith, and vision.
Just as every birth requires a mother and a midwife, The Grace Schools owe their foundation to the unwavering dedication of Pastor Walter and Jecinta Ong’ala, whose faith in God and commitment to education breathed life into this institution.
Today, The Grace Schools – Chepilat stand as a beacon of hope, shining brighter with each passing year. We are committed to achieving excellence, aiming to be recognized on the national academic map where champions are celebrated.
Above all, as our motto declares, “God First,” we remain grounded in Godly principles, raising a generation of learners with integrity and purpose. God bless The Grace Schools. Amen.
